BSH 329 OUT NEXT WEEK!

The new issue of BSH will hit the news stands next Thursday and it's stuffed full of lovely things. Huge coverage of the Farmyard Party, Spare Change Rally, You've Been Nabbed, Norrtalje, Magic Bike vies for space with a fabulous blown BSA, a Triumph with a genuine Bunt frame, a home-built XR bobber and, taking pride of place on the cover, Mr John Reed's ground-breaking Gold Yamaha, restored and ready to roll. Enjoy.

HARLEY-DAVIDSON 2012

Fresh new generation thinking or stealing ideas from the past and independent builders? You decide.

BARE NECESSITIES

Missouri commuters were startled to see a naked motorcyclist pass them in rush hour traffic last week. Jacob Southard accepted a dare to ride the 70 miles to his O'Fallon, MO, home seemingly naked.'Seemingly' because he was actually wearing a Borat-style mankini to cover his, er, modesty.
Strangely, not one single member of the law enforcement community wanted to get involved and stop him. Southard said;

I drove by five cops and every single one of them had their heads down or were doing something else.

Unsurprisingly, really. Their first question would have been to ask for Southard's driving licence, and who knows where he had that stashed...

Last week St Leger Harley-Davidson, Manchester Harley-Davidson and Leeds Harley-Davidson all closed their doors for good. Strangely, there has been no word or official press release from Harley-Davidson UK, so thank you to Gaz of Steeltown Choppers blogspot for making us aware. For more details, please have a look at Gaz's site HERE.

SOUNDS OF OUR LIVES PT 6

While half of the editorial team is at Faro being deafened by the dulcet tones of Iron Maiden, back at the Towers this is what we're listening. Figure we got the better deal.

BULLETVILLE

Last Monday I was at a car show in Arizona. Normally, I don't take too much notice of the live music, but the band playing in a Kingman parking lot deserve a big namecheck. They're called Bulletville and they're a Social Distortion covers band (Social D happen to be one of my favourite bands, and I was always going to be harsh on anyone taking on their material, but Bulletville really nailed it). Check them out on Facebook. The picture above was, unless I'm very much mistaken, taken in the showroom of Dream Motors in Kingman, Arizona, and the car is a '56 Cadillac Eldorado with 2 inches taken out of the bonnet, sectioned, raised rear wings and a '67 Buick Wild Cat roof.
